The Celtic Cross Spread is one of the most basic spreads when it comes to tarot card reading and horoscope signs reading. This is why it is so important that aspiring diviners learn the inner workings of this spread. Also known as the Grand Cross spread; it can reveal a lot about you, your life, relationships and problems. There are a lot of aspects to this spread once you want to know your love horoscopes, wealth and health. Before a reading whether it’s your horoscope signs or tarot card, a question must first be asked. There are ten cards to be laid out when it comes to the Celtic cross spread. The first one will deal with the general situation and query. It is called the Covering, mainly because it will give you a gist of what is happening right now. It can even give a general description of the influences and various situations connected to your problem/question. In the natal horoscope, the planets are frozen in their position at that initial moment. This type of horoscope is known as the birth chart or the natal chart. A correct interpretation of the birth positions exposes the "hand" that has been "dealt" in life. A horoscope can never show how you are going to "play" this hand. While you usually have freedom of choice or free will, the horoscope does reflect natural inclinations that you have to live with, lessons you have to learn, issues to be faced, and problems to be solved. The crossing represents the various negative influences of the problem or situation. Other coming negative situations will also be revealed in this area. The second card must be placed on top of the first card, forming a cross. Subconscious feelings and reality are what the third card reveals. It is called the Root, because it will show the root of your problems. When interpreting this card, you must remember that it excludes all of the unnecessary baggage and focuses only at the main problem. This card should be placed right below the first card. The third card will be directly correlated to the fourth card, which is called the Past. This should be placed before the first card because it symbolized the connectedness of the past to the present. The Crown is the fifth card, representing knowledge and wisdom. This will reveal the perception of the person about the situation or problem. This goes directly above the first card. To the right of the first card is the Future. This can reveal the events that will occur, mainly caused by the past and the present. The Questioner (seventh card) and the House (eighth card) will reveal the opinions of both yourself and the people surrounding you, mainly friends and family. The ninth card is called the Inside, for it will reveal what you secretly hope and fear about the current situation. This card is very personal. Finally, the tenth card is the Outcome, representing what will happen next. It can also be a fair warning to the individual.
