Why Do You Need a Birth Chart and 12 Houses?

By: Jackson Swift

So you've wondered how a birth chart affects your life but you don't actually know what it is. A birth chart (which also known in the astrological circles as a natal chart or a horoscope map) is a pictorial representation of the positions of the cosmic beings (the planets and also the sun and the moon) during the exact moment of your birth. This can be as exact as the month, day, hour and minute of your birth. According to astrologers the planets' precise location during your birth influences all aspects of your life.

Now you may say that you've never needed to have a birth chart mapped out to get the horoscopes from the newspapers or websites. However, these are actually generalized readings based only on the sun's position during your birth. You can have a more accurate, detailed horoscope interpreted if you have a free birth chart made.

Mind, it's not easy to have birth charts made as, aside from having to know very exact details of the time and location of your birth and mapping out the locations of Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn, Neptune, Jupiter, Uranus, Pluto, the Sun, the Moon and Lilith, the astrologer has to perform certain mathematical calculations before he even gets through to making his very first forecast. And yet despite (and because of) the work that goes into it, the natal chart is a very prominent element in astrology and is very often relied on by astrologers and of course, the people who need interpretations. It's been said even, that some countries have their own horoscope maps drawn up in order to predict the future about certain successes or calamities.

So if you're looking to get a more accurate, detailed reading of your horoscope and to find out how the alignment of the planets during your birth will affect you in a future date, it's probably best to seek out someone who can map out your birth chart and interpret it for you.

As we all know that the aspect lines is the one who depicts the meaning between the different planet and sensitive points in your birth chart or astrology chart. This line will have the symbols that will tell in a person whether the aspect is an opposition, a square or a trine and etc. A person birth chart consists and divided into 12 houses in which preside over the specific areas of their life.

The Birth Chart makes it simple to see which accommodation or territory every one planet was situated in at the time of birth. One of a lot of suitable ways to recognize the houses is to think of them as an evolutionary path, from the emergence of the Self into consciousness in the first house up to the collective cosmic realization and realm of dreams represented by the twelfth.

Here at the 12 houses;

1st House – Self (I am)
2nd House – Possessions (I Have)
3rd House – Immediate Environment (I Communicate)
4th House – Home (I am Nurtured)
5th House – Self-Expression (I Create)
